Hey there! I’m Clay, the owner and developer of Illium Digital Media. I’d been coding for a few years while working on getting my master’s degree in Computer Science, but it wasn’t until a family member mentioned they needed a website to help grow their business that I took the plunge to make one.

With a bit of web design experience from my degree under my belt, I decided to lend a hand. It was definitely a challenge, but the thrill of building something new and watching it all come together was so rewarding. It wasn’t just about the code; it was about helping someone reach their goals, and that feeling really resonated.

And those who did end up with a website were often taken advantage of, leaving them with a terrible site that looks like it was designed in the dark ages and hasn't been updated in a decade. Through this journey, I realised that many small businesses face hurdles when it comes to affording a professional website. The high upfront costs can be daunting, and even those who invest often end up with outdated website designs that don't serve their needs and lack the necessary support. But I wanted to change that, so I came up with a plan with £0 upfront and £75 model, where I can be a supportive partner for small business owners, helping them thrive without the added financial stress.

From there, we’ll enhance that information and draft the entire website content, create the design, seek your approval, and then move on to development. This process typically takes 2-3 weeks from beginning to end.
